Moved to a script in my dotfiles repository.

The phone and e-mail emojis take 2 columns when displayed, but I don't
think Pandoc has any way to know that when parsing tables (unless
there is some Unicode metadata marking those glyphs as wider than
normal).

The "fitting note" comment dates back when the previous paragraph was
"Also I like to read and watch and play lots of silly things"; not
really relevant now.

- Background extension: faces now have an :extend attribute that
allows them not to extend beyond EOL. Good enough for now.
- Reports on .dir-locals parsing changes have been closed.
- icomplete has been revamped recently; most of these behaviors have
changed.
- y-or-no-p now allows C-x o'ing out of the minibuffer.
- can't reproduce the org-clocktable bug.
- Magit now says (256+) when there are more than 256 unpulled commits.
- Transient preferences can be set with C-x C-s.
- rg-project seems to DTRT even in a Dired buffer.
Also add information for scroll-lock and org-indent+diff-hl bugs.

I thought the first one worked, but it failed on another setup I
installed recently. Unless I'm mistaken, this cannot actually work:
the process *spawned by sudo* (cat) has root privileges; the sudo
process itself is run as the regular user, therefore the redirection
fails.

It's a poor replacement for Conky. Either my system is responsive
enough and I can start an htop, or it's completely frozen and this
widget won't help much anyway.

Admittedly, they're not blogs, but their concise statements resembles
blog posts more than academic articles.

The punchlines were fun, though they mostly amounted to silly sed
shenanigans.

Take notes this time.

Makes it impossible to rebase anything[^1]. Someday I'll run
update-count.sh as a pre-processing step for this website; in the
meantime, just get rid of it.
[^1]: Well, not *impossible*, just annoying. For every commit, the
rebase must be paused and the conflict resolved with:
$ git checkout --theirs -- README.md
$ ./update-count.sh
$ git add README.md
$ git rebase --continue

On "benchmarking gone wrong".

|
- "Meaningful" is not the issue, "correct" (both functionally and
formally) mostly is.
- Doesn't look like I'm adding notes about entertainment stuff.
- This "fuckload" is gratuitous. Remove it.

Bryan Cantrill's stuff is great; a shame I have nothing to add to it.
Hopefully I'll have things to say about Oral Tradition.

And restore my previous configuration.

Overall things look OK, despite
- xfwm4 lacking an "unconditionally remove all decoration" option,
- the tasklist panel widget not being able to visually isolate windows
from different workspaces like tint2 does (cf. [bug#10424]),
- the clock panel widget taking more horizontal space,
- battery life seeming somewhat shorter,
- Greybird's xfwm-tabwin style drives me crazy when my mouse happens
to be hanging near the window list (cf. topic#9585).

This one has been on my TODO list for a while.

Got hooked in by the definition of "systems programming".

Need to try the repository version, make a bug report if it's still
failing, and ask when are new releases coming out if not.
